More than positive experience. We found this delightful, well-maintained tavern with high quality food.Mixed starters also complete with fried products, exceptional first course and very tender meat, superlative dessert. We also accompanied everything with some not bad glasses of wine. The only note that I would recommend is to improve the directions to get to the place.

Quality of ingredients, creativity in the kitchen, great attention to the customerWe don't manage to go to Osteria Persei as much as we would like, but every now and then on the end-of-week journey from Sabaudia to Rome, we stop there.First of all, the location is in the village of Prossedi, delightfully perched and characterized by a network of alleys and steps.At a corner the door of the enchanting Osteria Persei opens: we are welcomed with courtesy and kindness since the phone call made shortly before. Another time we had dinner in the garden, this time we were seated in the welcoming room, tastefully furnished.Hungry, we open the menu and find all the delights: ingredients carefully chosen from the best and most genuine local products, combined with creativity and skill.We start with a mixed appetizer, in which everything is delicious (I particularly appreciate their buffalo cheeses), accompanied by "buffalo mozzarella morsels" with a delicate saffron breading, on a cream of peas and toasted olives: a perfectly successful experiment.Then the first courses arrive: my wife and I are still undecided on which was the best, whether the long fusilli with minced buffalo meat, basil and almonds (delicate but very tasty) or the homemade cappellacci with a delicious meat filling, and a seasoning of aromatic herbs, pistachios and cherry tomatoes (we tried to understand and steal the secrets of the dish from the chef: what's in it? Cloves, nutmeg, marjoram? We just know that they are delicious!).For the second course, my wife tasted the buffalo rags with cherry tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella, really delicious, while I enjoyed the best bufalina alla cacciatora I've ever tasted in the whole area (and I've tasted quite a few, eh).As you may have understood, buffalo mozzarella reigns supreme on the menu at Osteria Persei, with its delicate, tasty and healthy meat, and above all 0 km; but there are also many other interesting proposals.Too full for dessert, at first we decide not to take it: but the very kind and friendly owner manages to tempt us and in the end we "give in"... and we did very well!The violet panna cotta (not always available) is a masterpiece: a panna cotta like this will make you understand what panna cotta really is, and the delicate flavor of the caramelized violets will send you into raptures. The strawberry grape pudding is also very pleasant, fresh and tasty, it still gives us a remnant of summer at the end of October.In addition to all these delicacies (clearly, I reported the dishes from memory and I may have gotten something wrong, if so I apologize), the evening was made even more pleasant by the kind friendliness and great hospitality of the staff: they made us feel at home and at the same time served us with great attention. They won the hearts of me, my wife, and our little Kyra. Thanks again!To conclude, quality/price ratio absolutely in favor of the customer, with low costs compared to the very high quality offered.

All very good indeed. I ate a very delicate and decidedly tasty soup. The second, the Morolo donut with grilled courgettes and aubergines, a small piece of Ciociaria cuisine revisited. Fair price for what we ate.
